Conferences
Medical meetings with dates, venues, abstract deadlines, date confidence and therapy areas.
Start with medical conferences and journals: dates, abstract deadlines, locations and journal metrics, kept current by our team. Use the data live in Excel, or connect it to your own applications. More datasets are on the way.

Orbytel Group has worked exclusively with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies since 2009. Our data is shaped by how those teams plan, review and present their work.
Quality over quantity.
Every conference is classified into the therapeutic areas biopharma teams plan around, so you can pull everything for oncology or rheumatology without building your own mapping.
We cover clinically and medically oriented meetings and journals. We leave basic research and laboratory instrumentation to others.
Predatory conferences and journals are kept out, and coverage centers on the meetings and publications that matter to medical and scientific teams. Less noise means less cleanup on your side.
Our team checks records against official sources, and every date shows whether it is confirmed or still an estimate.
Every record follows the same format, so the data is easy to review and can go straight into a slide, a plan or a report. Conference names, for example, always follow one pattern:
Every dataset uses the same key, the same request style and the same change feed. Records link to each other by ID, so a new dataset fits into what you have already built.
Medical meetings with dates, venues, abstract deadlines, date confidence and therapy areas.
Journal profiles with impact metrics, open access terms, review timelines and selectivity.
Abstracts presented at each meeting, with session, presentation type and authors.
Medical societies with their focus areas, the meetings they run and the journals they publish.
Experts by therapy area, with their presentations and affiliations.
Licensed customers can add a new dataset as soon as it launches. The key and integration stay the same; the new data simply becomes available.
Analysts can open a live view of the data in Excel and refresh it with one click. Engineering teams can connect the same data to their own systems.

Uses Excel's built-in Power Query, included in Excel for Microsoft 365. The same connection works in Power BI.
Load the full dataset once, then pull only what changed since your last request. Updates and removals arrive in order, so your copy always matches ours.
Next year's deadlines are often unannounced when you need to plan. Rather than leave a gap or pass off a guess as fact, each date carries its own status.

The full field list will be published here at launch. Expected coverage includes:
Society profiles will connect the conferences each society runs and the journals it publishes, using the same organization IDs that already appear on conference and journal records.
Tell me when it launchesExpert profiles by therapy area, linked to the abstracts they present and the societies they belong to.
Tell me when it launchesEvery dataset works the same way. Download it once; after that, each request returns only what was added, changed or removed since the last one.
Download every record you are licensed for as one compressed file from /v1/exports/{dataset}. It includes a sync token.
Call /v1/{dataset}/changes?since=<token> daily, hourly, or as often as you like. Or filter by date with updated_since.
Changed records arrive in full. Removed ones arrive as "deleted": true, so your copy never keeps a stale entry. Save the new token for next time.

Plain HTTPS requests and JSON responses, with dates in ISO 8601 and times in UTC.
A complete machine-readable spec for generating client code and testing.
One key per application, sent as a bearer token. Rotate or revoke keys at any time.
Cursor-based pages, plus filters for year, dates, country and therapy area.
Standard HTTP status codes, structured error bodies and rate-limit headers.
Every path starts with /v1. Breaking changes ship as a new version with advance notice.
Build submission calendars from abstract deadlines and choose target journals by impact, timelines and open access terms.
Plan attendance, booths and coverage across the year's meetings in each therapy area.
Track which meetings matter in your space and when new data could be presented.
Embed current records in your own platform, kept up to date automatically.
Each dataset is licensed on its own. Pricing depends on the datasets you choose, your request volume and how you will use the data.
Tell us a little about your project. We will send a trial key, the Excel starter workbook and the developer guide, usually within one business day.
No. The Excel starter workbook connects to the API for you: paste in your key, choose your filters and click Refresh All. Developers can use the same data through the API directly.
Our team and monitoring tools check organizer websites and announcements throughout the year. A change is available through the API as soon as it is saved, so a daily sync keeps you within a day of our database.
On purpose. We cover the clinical and medical meetings and journals that matter to biopharma teams, and we leave out predatory and low-relevance ones, so you spend less time filtering noise.
Conference abstracts are next, followed by professional societies and then key opinion leaders. Each new dataset uses the same key, request style and change feed as the ones available today.
The change feed returns it with "deleted": true, so you can remove it from your copy. You never need to reload the full set to find removals.
The API returns JSON. Full exports are compressed JSON Lines files, one record per line, which load easily into databases. Excel and Power BI users get a flat table through the starter workbook.
Yes. Conference records start with the 2023 editions, and each meeting's editions are linked so you can compare deadlines and lead times across years.
